This month, we will celebrate the birthdays of our members born in September including Mierle Ukeles, Jenny Kendler, Mary Mattingly, Ruth Wallen, Beverly Naidus, Ulrike Arnold, Diane Burko and Vaughn Bell. Kim Abeles, Hugh Pocock, Roy Staab and many others! If you are born under the sign of Virgo or Libra, we want to know who you are. Fellow Earth Signs Capricorn and Taurus, we want to know who you are as well. We want all our members to attend and let us know when you were born!
Technically all signs are considered Earth Signs, whether air, water, earth, or fire. All the elements are a part of the alchemical soup we find ourselves living in on Planet Earth.
Through the years, ecoartspace curators Amy Lipton and Patricia Watts noted that there are several ecoart pioneers with birthdays in January, May, and September, the Earth Signs of the Zodiac. Amy's birthday was September 8, and Patricia's is on September 20. Amy's close friend and member Sue Spaid (also a Virgo) and Patricia Watts will host the birthday beings, moderating questions and acknowledging our September birthday artists' achievements. And, rumor has it that there will be a few alchemists and astrologers at the table, including Ann McCoy (Cancer). Invite your astrologers to join us!
This will be a fun, light-hearted online event to consider our role in an Alchemical world currently out of balance.
