Amy Lipton joined ecoartspace as east coast curator and Director of ecoartspace New York in 1999. For twenty years Lipton curated over thirty art and ecology exhibitions and worked with hundreds of ecological artists. As you may know, Lipton passed away on December 6, 2020 due to complications of ovarian cancer.

For this event ecoartspace has invited artists and curators who have worked with Lipton through the years on important exhibitions and programs, pioneering a movement of artists working at the intersection of art, science and the natural world.

The first hour and one half will be presented in webinar format and recorded. Registrants will be muted upon entry and video cameras will be turned off, except for the speakers. Following the special guest speakers and select ecoartspace members, we will open it up to participants to share their experiences working with Lipton for a second informal recording with sound and video restored.

The event is open to anyone for free and we will accept as many participants as would like to join us.
