TREE TALK: Artists Speak for Trees
The entanglements of a forest are vast, complex and mysterious. Today artists seek to understand and express the interconnectedness of trees with all living beings. Each month since June 2020, member artists working in a diversity of media have shared their artworks and ideas about these most essential and extraordinary living beings. Additionally, guest speakers including scientists, writers and activists were invited to present their work and contribute to the dialogue.
Each month members included in the online exhibition and book Embodied Forest (2021), will share their work through June 2022.
Tree Talk is moderated by Sant Khalsa, ecofeminist artist and activist, whose work has focused on critical environmental and societal issues including forests and watersheds for four decades.
